Our team of instructors will help participants obtain the skills and knowledge required to work on tall structures including climbing of masts and towers as well as rigging. Access Unlimited aim to deliver professional quality training in a relaxed and friendly environment.

All candidates that successfully complete the course will be issued with a statement of attainment for ICTTCR203 - Use Safe Rigging Practices to Climb and Perform Rescues on Telecommunications Network Structures. This course includes the nationally recognised RIIWHS204D Work Safely at Heights qualification.

About The Course

Access Unlimited is a Registered Training Organisation (Provider No: 51806) Use Safe Rigging Practices To Climb And Perform Rescues On Telecommunications Network Structures

This Unit of Competency is delivered over 2 days with the performance outcomes providing participants with the skills and knowledge required to use rigging practices to assess risk and climb and perform rescues from Telecommunication Network Structures. Although this course is designed specifically for the Telecommunication industry the rescue practices that are covered can be used to carry out a Rope Rescue for most vertical rescue scenarios.


Application of The Unit

Technical staff who use rigging on telecommunications radio structures apply the skills and knowledge in this unit. They may make use of rigging plant and equipment, fall arrest, fall guarding and fall constraint and work in teams.

Upon successful completion of both the theoretical and practical assessments will lead to the issue of a Statement of Attainment ICTTCR203 Use Safe Rigging Practices to Climb and Perform Rescues on Telecommunications Network Structures and RIIWHS204D Work Safely at Heights.

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel your training course booking, try to do this as early as possible as the following fees will apply:

  • Less than 5 business days notice prior to the course: 20% of the course fee will be charged.
  • Less than 2 business days notice prior to the course: 50% of the course fee will be charged.
  • Fees will be non-refundable for participants who book a place in a training course and do not show up on the day that the course is held.
