About The Course

This 1 day course is designed for mining operators, construction, maintenance and service persons that are required to work at heights or depths. The course is nationally recognised and delivered by experienced height safety specialists in plain everyday language.

Working at Heights

Working at height is one of leading causes of injury and death in the workplace.

Some of the most common occurrence of injuries includes falling from a ladder and not taking adequate precautions when working on fragile or unstable surfaces.

The ‘Working at heights’ can be described as any place where a worker could fall.

This training course will show employers and staff how they can take simple, practical measures to reduce the risk of any of their workers falling while working at heights.

Upon successful completion of both the theoretical and practical assessments will lead to the issue of a Statement of Attainment in RIIWHS204D Work Safely at Heights.

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel your training course booking, try to do this as early as possible as the following fees will apply:

  • Less than 5 business days notice prior to the course: 20% of the course fee will be charged.
  • Less than 2 business days notice prior to the course: 50% of the course fee will be charged.
  • Fees will be non-refundable for participants who book a place in a training course and do not show up on the day that the course is held.
